Nic tries to explain to Leona why Elmo ( little furry guy with the dark eyes to
Nic's right and Leona's left) can't stand. Muscle and bones, ligaments and balance,
stance even. All of these are in the explanation.
Leona can stand for maybe 20 seconds now, and she needs explanations. Or at least they are being given before she can walk off.
The green catepillar can't stand. Elmo can't. Leona can.
Last weekend Nic performed with a North State Symphony Quintet in Redding on Saturday and in Chico on Sunday.
We stayed in Chico with Jan and Russell. On Saturday, Finnley, their grandson, came to visit for a while.
Leona and Finnley were instant friends. They had fun looking through the door and standing at the table. The table photo won in the posting contest:
Our next adventure is moving. We're not ready. Well, Leona is, but we're not. Come visit us in the new to us rental soon.
