June at the Pool
We have discovered, only after being here two years, how amazing it is to live so close to the Pacific Pool. t's free, and perfect. We head over there, take a dip, and walk home-- sometimes in just 30 minutes. Walking home wet is glorious in this hot summer and it really is so close to home. Last night, for example, the 20 minutes we spent at the pool after work with Leona was just enough, and we still had time to hang out and play,
make a nice dinner, have bath time, and read plenty of books before bed. We had to farm out Deyve's walk to Lara, my student who seems happy enough to pick him up and take him along with her for a walk. In fact, we think Deyve prefers to get some spice in his life through these walks, as there are other dogs that participate.

We should try and do a swim date with the Bradley Babies! Charlie loves the water too!
